Marc Dann in Town

Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann will provide opening remarks at “Family Violence Prevention: What Can Be Done in Ohio?” from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the Holiday Inn, 7410 South Ave. The forum is to share research findings from the recently published “White Paper on Improving Family Violence in Ohio.” Regional forums are the first phase of a project started in 2007, through the support of the Anthem Foundation of Ohio. The Family Violence Prevention Project aspires to increase awareness of the scope and consequences of family violence in Ohio, identify realistic and promising policies and programs for abuse prevention and build support for implementing policies and programs.
